This is the website of the only terrestrial radio program in Southern Illinois devoted to the local musicians who provide the life-blood of live entertainment here in the heartland.
Wolfstock is an outdoor music festival held in honor of the late Bob Trout, who passed away in August, 2007. The inaugural Wolfstock was held Aug. 23-24, 2008 at the Trout farm near Mt. Vernon. The weekend featured bands from all around Southern Illinois and as far away as St. Louis, Mo. The hundreds of music fans in attendance endured some rain and humidity on Friday night and near-record heat on Saturday, but they were rewarded with some of the finest performances in the area. From the opening act on Friday, "Moonbeam Lane," to the headline act on Saturday, "The Answer," fans were deluged with entertainment. Wolfstock 2011 is scheduled to be held in September 2011.
